We're Back....
After a grueling 15 hour trip home yesterday, we're finally home from a refreshing family vacation to the Carolina Mountains! I've heard & seen horrid media depictions of the 'most-travelled day of the year,' but to experience it for oneself is quite another thing....it's worse than I could have imagined. Besides the fact that we all arrived home safely with not even a near accident, the traffic, weather and time it took to get through it, made for some raw nerves and muscle spasms never-before encountered by yours truly! Check out the speedometer in the photo...yes, it's true, we maintained that speed erratically for hours on end!
Needless to say, we're all happy to have made it home! I hope you all had a wonderful time of Thanksgiving, as we did, with those you love best. I'll post some pictures later in the week highlighting the memories we made.
